Custom-engineered industrial air compressor packages
Founded in 1919, Kaeser ranks amongst the world’s largest and most successful manufacturers for air compressors, air dryers, filters, and compressed air management systems. As the competence center within Kaeser group for customized solutions, Kaeser Austria is providing engineered systems to the oil and gas industry since the 1990s. Kaeser instrument air and nitrogen generation packages are especially designed and manufactured for reliable and continuous operation in harsh environments which can be found in the deserts of Middle Eastern countries, tropical and coastal areas, and off-shore. Ambient temperatures below 0 °C and as high as 60 °C are taken into consideration when the packages are designed.
Kaeser instrument air packages are engineered, built and tested as per internationally accepted standards (with minor deviations acceptable to all our customers) e.g.:
- Rotary screw compressors acc. API 619 5th edition; or
- Oil-free rotary screw compressors acc. ISO 10440-2:2001.
To achieve customers’ different requirement for dew point, we can offer
- Refrigeration air dryer (PDP ≤ +3 °C);
- Desiccant air dryer (PDP < -40 °C); or
- Membrane air dryer (PDP ≤ 25 K (or more) below ambient temperature).
Different types of pre- and after-filters are integrated in the packages to guarantee the desired compressed air quality.
Kaeser nitrogen generation packages using innovative and top efficient nitrogen membranes can reduce customers’ cost significantly due to the high operating efficiency. The membranes require 10 – 40 % less compressed air than other offerings on the market. As high as 99 % purity of nitrogen can be delivered with the membrane technology.
Optimized skid-mounted or containerized installation completely piped and wired, offers a portable, compact, light-weight and turn-key solution for our customers. In addition, customers’ requirements are fulfilled to the maximum possibility, which include but are not limited to
- Codes, standards and/or customers’ specifications;
- Material of construction – carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminium alloy;
- Package control system (Kaeser Sigma Control 2, Unit Control Panel employing either redundant or non-redundant PLC-Systems; or control via company’s DCS);
- Sub-vendor selection acc. customers’ AVL.

ISO 9001:2015 to ensure the ability to consistently provide products and services that meets customers’ quality and applicable regulatory requirements. Furthermore, Kaeser’s environmental management system is certified as per ISO 14001:2015. We do enhance our environmental performance by applying this.
